I am a fully licensed celebrant, registered with the Attorney General's office and ready to help you create your perfect wedding day.


A lot goes into the planning and preparation for a wedding and these days the task is often left to the bride and groom.  You are probably both working full time and have little time left in the day, let alone organise a wedding.  Rest assured I'm here to help make it that little bit easier for you with all the legal requirements.


My role is to listen to what you want for your wedding day, however if you don't have a clear idea of what you want yet, don't worry I can help you with ideas to spark your imagination for that too.

Process for Choosing your Celebrant


What to bring to our first meeting:


For your first obligation free meeting you don’t need to bring or prepare anything.


I recommend catching up for a chat/coffee at my home office so you can get to know me a little better before making your decision and so I can hear more about your wedding plans and ideas!  


At this meeting we can discuss your preliminary wedding plans and I can provide you with any advice or suggestions that you may need.  I will also give you a brief background on myself and my services and cover all of the legal aspects to getting married.


If you don’t live locally we can easily do all of the above over the phone.  


Once you have made your decision on your celebrant and if you would like to book my services I request a deposit to secure the date for you.  


From here we then book a follow up meeting and go through in great detail all of your wishes and dreams for your ceremony.  I also ask you lots of questions so I can get to know you better which enables me to write a beautiful, personalised and custom wedding ceremony that your guests will love!  Once you have paid the booking fee I will also provide you with a kit to help with ideas on vows, readings, rituals, etc


NOTE: If you would like to book me straight away you can pay the booking deposit and we can cover everything in the one meeting.  


What to bring to our second meeting:


In our second meeting we will fill out the “Notice of Intended Marriage Form”(NOIM) This must be done at least 1 month and 1 day prior to the wedding ceremony date set or within eighteen months of the wedding ceremony date.  For the NOIM form you will need the following documentation:


• If you were born in Australia you must produce an original birth certificate.

• If you were born overseas you must produce either an original birth certificate or current overseas passport.

• If you are an Australian citizen but were born overseas we cannot use your Australian passport only overseas passports are allowed and birth certificates.

• If the birth certificate is not in English, this must be accompanied by a certified translation.

• If either the bride or groom is divorced they will need to bring their Divorce papers.

• If either the bride or groom is widowed they will need to bring the Death Certificate of their previous spouse.

• If you do not have your birth certificate and born in Australia it is easily obtained from the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages


NOTE: If you do not live locally please let me know and we can organise an alternate way to facilitate this.


I often work with couples from interstate and overseas and sometimes it is not possible to meet you until the day before your wedding.  It is very easy to work together via email, telephone and post, and I will send all the information that you need.


After our second meeting I then get started on writing your customised ceremony and once completed I email the first draft through to you and you can make any changes that you wish so the end result is a beautiful ceremony that is perfect for you.


Booking Conditions:


Payment Terms: Deposits must be made within 7 business days to secure the date. 

Payment can be made by cash, cheque, or electronic transfer.

Full payment must be received 7 days prior to the ceremony.


Refund Policy: The deposit paid upon signing the NOIM or securing the ceremony date is not refundable.  In extreme circumstances the celebrant reserves the right to cancel, with full refund of deposit and replacement celebrant offered.   All other requests for refund of fees will be at the discretion of the celebrant.
